FAB was excited to have Rue La La's Project Manager and Founder and Creator of Jacqueline Lapuck jewelry do a speaker presentation and present a trunk show for us at Boston University.
Jacqueline Lapuck is a fashion retail veteran who had an obsession with the design of jewelry since she could put pieces together. She realized she should start her own jewelry company when people literally started pulling the bracelets off of her wrist! JL jewelry was then born, it is sold on Rue La La and has been extremely popular in the past year! I was honored to meet her at the HBS conference a few months earlier!
Lapuck was extremely friendly and open to all students interested in fashion design and her biggest advice was "Find a Mentor". Lapuck's biggest regret was never having a mentor but she has had a huge support system with her Parson's teachers', family and boyfriend.
I hope to work with her again soon, I bought 3 beautiful bracelets and you should all check out her beautiful items at http://jlapuck.com!
